Who are We?
Societal Cyst is a student-empowered non profit organisation that aims to challenge gender stereotypes and achieve the goal of gender equity through education and essential resource distribution. Our mission is to assist girls and women on their journey to become everything they aspire to be. Our team consists of like minded student volunteers who come together to conduct awareness workshops with both underprivileged and privileged crowds, as well as provide them with educational and hygiene kits.
We organise funds of our own by taking both donations as well as through various Fundraising events. From simple ways to spark conversation about menstrual equity with other change makers across the globe, to undertaking campaigns to distribute essential hygiene resources, we have impacted 2,000+ lives in a year of our working. Join us in smashing the patriarchy!
DON'T FEED THE PATRIARCHY,
EAT IT UP.
Fluid
“In colouring, there are no mistakes; just unique creations.”
What is Fluid ?
Fluid is our custom curated colouring book featuring images and fun filled activities that help break through gender stereotypes. Each page is hand designed by student volunteers across the country, with an abundance of love, thought and effort poured into each page.
Why Fluid ?
We decided to make a colouring book due to its creative and engaging method of learning that will help ingrain ideas of equality and feminism into the everyday life of children. It is a fun and productive way for children to learn through the means they understand the best while creating beautiful pieces of artwork. We believe learning starts young and these colouring books will help educate young minds on the issue by blending these ideas into their everyday learning process. Not everyone has access to resources that help broaden their views on the world. We thus hope to provide an easily accessible and affordable source of learning for children. Each child has the right to grow their mind and reach their best potential. This project is just one of the ways which will help us achieve our goal of an equal world.
